Audio shows are still strong
Sure, video is taking more and more space up on the net, and people are showing off their so-called talents all over the place, but audio is still strong for me and those who I get along with. I’m not talking like this for the benefit of my own audio show of course.
I listen to a great many audio shows both for research and pure pleasure, and some of those who have been going for years are still good and strong, though often still struggle for an audience. The lure of shiny video seems to draw people away from audio as a viable means of entertainment and that’s a huge shame. i hope audio shows continue to be strong and a viable part of the online world that I choose to inhabit.
