Abide by the Law

Last Sunday, my lawyer friend asked me what the best radar detector was from a practical point of view. The thing about radar detectors is that it cannot detect anything else other than Doppler-radar devices. So, the chances of getting prosecuted are still high. This was my answer to him: if you drive in urban areas a lot, you tend to get a lot (and I mean, a lot!) of false alerts from the radar detectors because frequent checkpoints are saved in the GPS system. It can get rather annoying. It is much easier to just abide by the law. Speeding kills.
