The Only Way Out
I have learned my lesson about going into business with other people. Three years ago, I bought some property with two other guys. We built a bed and breakfast on it, and planned to share the work load and the profits. We were supposed to split the payment three ways, with each of us being responsible for a third. However, I have been the only one who has paid. The other two guys insist that they don’t have the money. For the last six months, I haven’t, either. Unfortunately, I am the one who has the loan in my name. The only way I can see out of this is to get a Debt Settlement. We may lose the bed and breakfast, but I just can’t carry the entire load any more.
