Chest Size and Back Pain
My older sister is very small in size yet wears a 40DD bra. For the past few years she has suffered from chronic lower back pain. Her doctor advised her that this pain will most likely not go away until she has breast reduction surgery. He believes the weight of her breasts is throwing off her center of balance which leads to the back pain. She is supposed to see a surgeon next week and see if he concurs. The only problem she is running into is that her insurance company claims this is an elective surgery. Her doctor is willing to fight it, yet I think it’s unbelievable that any company could refuse to cover this. Insurance companies really make me angry at times.
