Quitting May Have Spared Him
I begged my Daddy not to smoke. When I was a little girl in second grade, we learned in school that smoking is bad for people and can make them very sick. Since my father smoked, I tried to get him to stop, but he usually laughed it off or told me not to worry so much. He was a contractor and built and remodeled houses. When he got sick, we learned it was cancer. If he would not have smoked, he may have been spared from the exposure to on the job asbestos. The Mesothelioma claim will help with the cost of treatment.
