Gone are the days
Do remember back when ride on toys consisted of a broom handle ,with a stuffed plastic horse head attached, that you used your imagination to ride like a real horse. These days the ride on toys you find could be battery operated cars. Kids today don’t need to use their imaginations as much as the kids of the past. The sophistication of toys today make them seem more like miniature versions of the real object. Maybe this is why kids want to drive earlier. The kids of today just believer they can do adult things earlier that kids of past times.
