As part of my role as a recruitment manager for a largish firm in the marine insurance industry I’m often required to do a free criminal background check on any prospective employee that we are considering hiring. Now in the past, this procedure used to be quite tedious as I had to employ a 3rd party to do the search and pay them a not nominal fee each time. But  I’m pleased to say these days that the whole process is much easier. There are now a number of good online resources that allow me to do a free criminal background check at any time of my choosing – and not just criminal background searches either.
