When I was looking at all the possible careers that were available to me in the medical field, the choices stretched out before me, seemingly endless!  I thought that I would probably like to start with a job that had a lot of growth potential but I also wanted a good income right out of the box.  I found out about the average surgical technician salary and was I ever impressed.  They do real well even when they are just starting their careers.  In fact I have been pretty seriously considering pursuing this as my choice of career for several reasons.
