My Son was Determined to Learn to Read
I love books and our home was full of them, long before my husband and I had children. When my son came along we were not really surprised that he showed an early interest in words, even when he was only two or three years old. At first we just read to him but he was so determined to learn to read himself that we invested in a program which would help him. By the time he was four he was reading his childrens’ books by himself and could not have been prouder. He is now in the second grade and, of course, reading is his favorite subject.
